FreeBSD
I am trying to get Asterisk to compile on FreeBSD 4.8. Per bug 389, BSD support should be in CVS. I have also tried applying the patch in bug 374, but always get these messages: click# make "Makefile", line 21: Missing dependency operator "Makefile", line 23: Need an operator "Makefile", line 72: Missing dependency operator "Makefile", line 74: Need an

random effects with lmer() and lme(), three random factors
Hi, all, I have a question about random effects model. I am dealing with a three-factor experiment dataset. The response variable y is modeled against three factors: Samples, Operators, and Runs. The experimental design is as follow: 4 samples were randomly chosen from a large pool of test samples. Each of the 4 samples was analyzed by 4 operators, randomly selected from a group of

Hi all, Ruby 1.8.4 Rails 1.1.2 I''m a newb when it comes to SOAP, but I thought I''d give it a shot. I have several web services defined. However, when I try to connect with a SOAP client it seems the client is only picking up one of the services, called Hardware. require ''soap/wsdlDriver'' wsdl_url =

I'm compiling using RH9, OpenH323_1.12.2, pwlib_1.5.2, i compiled and installed them myself... GnuGk is running smoothly using them. Also my intention is to terminate calls from a SIP client through Asterisk and into my GnuGK... has anyone accomplished this ?

Hard time installing printers 3.4.8
Hello, been googling this for a while. Read GD's presentation on why printing is such a pain... Anyway, I'm using 3.4.8 on Freebsd 8.1 I've tried a few combinations - best luck is with 3.2.5, but I'd like to move forward a bit. So, I've got the ADS part working pretty good. happy with how that's going. my problem is when I attempt to load printer drivers.

Error for compiling Rquantlib package 0.3.5 under Window 7 64bits
Hi, I am trying to build a binary of Rquantlib package 0.3.5 under Window 7 64bits. I am using mingw gcc version 4.5.1 (tdm64-1) which is a experimental version of 64 bits ming gcc. (http://tdm-gcc.tdragon.net/). I have successfully compiled boost 1.45 and Quantlib 1.0.1 with this gcc. And then when I tried to compile Rquantlib 0.3.5, it reports some error. The first error is like below.

Upgrade from 4.7 to 5.2 problem with udev and ssl
Hello, Got cocky and decided to upgrade from from 4.7 to 5.2. Have a couple problems I can't figure out. The first is I cannot access webmin securely. I had to use httpd.conf.rpmnew to even get apache to start. Got it running but now I seem to have no secure connection to webmin. Next, I have never seen this before but I don't appear to have problems that I have found. Upon startup,

[LLVMdev] TableGen Operator Names
I just submitted a change to TableGen to make the lisp-like operator names more readable (as suggested by Gabor a very long time ago). I would also like to change the way operators are invoked. As I keep adding more functionality, the bang invocation syntax is making things hard to read. For example: !if(!empty(arg),then, else) Does this mean "if empty," "if not empty" or

ActiveRecord Question
Hi all I am new to Rails, and obviously I''m missing something, I''ll get straight to the question: A User has many operations (granted to her), each Operation is associated with an OperationType. Each Operation may be associated with more then one User. So the model goes like this: class User < ActiveRecord::Base has_and_belongs_to_many :operations
