[Libvirt] [virsh] Transport Error during enumeration while connecting libvirt to Hyper-V Server
Hi all, I am using libvirt 1.1.1. I can successfully able to connect with Qemu driver but when I am trying to connect to the windows Hyper-V using virsh, I am getting failure. [root@localhost hyperv]# virsh version Compiled against library: libvirt 1.1.1 Using library: libvirt 1.1.1 Using API: QEMU 1.1.1 Running hypervisor: QEMU 1.5.3 When I am doing virsh to connect to hype-V I am getting

This error means that openwsman reported WS_LASTERR_FAILED_INIT. This error code means that the libcurl call curl_easy_init() failed. This seems to me like a openwsman/libcurl issue, not related at all to the actual Hyper-V server you try to...

XCP vs Xen on CentOS and Dell OpenManage
Hello, I just tried out XCP and I was surprised to see it looks pretty much like Xen from Citrix. Based on the RPM packages installed, I assume XCP is based on RHEL5. With that in mind, I have a few questions that I did not find an answer on the web... Perhaps I didn''t look in the right places, so if you know about any good documentations that I should read please share it :)

Dell openmanage srvadmin on 5.6
Hi all, I'm just trying to get Dell openmanage to run on my Centos 5.6 box. The monitoring stuff appears to have installed but the web server stuff is complaining it needs openwsman 2.2.3 or later and I can only find that for RHEL/Centos 6, not 5. Can anyone point me at a suitable rpm, or do I have to resort to compiling it? Surely I'm not the only one trying to do this. -- Kevin Thorpe

Libvirt remote-client compilation for RHEL4
Hi, We are trying to compile Libvirt 1.02 from source for an RHEL4 target. Our virtualization hosts are running the fedora 17/ RHEL6 with the latest standard libvirt binaries. This is where VMs will be created. But our user/development machines are RHEL4 and we would like users to be able to use virsh/libvirt/python to control the Vms running on RHEL6/fedora17 remotely from the their RHEL4
