Struggling with AEC and OpenSL
Hi, Speex devs, I apologize in advance if this is not the proper venue for this question, but I had seen in the archives that other threads of this nature had been discussed. In brief, I'm trying to get AEC working on a simple Android NDK app. It's a basic "play from a file, record from the mic to file" loopback test. I'm using OpenSL ES. I establish a player and a

Speex-dev Digest, Vol 115, Issue 2
Hi, Rhett, echo_diagnostic.m can produce an echo canceled file along with the possible warning messages. Can it cancel the echo properly? It may announce the "Drift estimate is ..." message if the recorded sound contains not only echo but also other sound like a near-end speech. In other cases, it may truly indicate a mismatch of the sampling frequency. Regards Kaiyu On Thu, Feb 6,

LDAP issues with 3.8.1p1
Hello, I have recently compiled and installed release 3.8.1p1. This was done on a Solaris 8 system using LDAP as its naming service. The new release, however, will not let me log in (as a regular user). I repeatedly get "Permission denied, please try again" messages. The root user, though, can log in okay. The same thing happened with the 3.7.1p2 release. The 3.6.1p1 release

OpenSSL 1.1 support status : what next?
OpenSC has taken a different approach to OpenSSL-1.1. Rather then writing a shim for OpenSSL-1.1, the OpenSC code has been converted to the OpenSSL-1.1 API and a sc-ossl-compat.h" file consisting of defines and macros was written to support older versions of OpenSSL and Libressl. https://github.com/OpenSC/OpenSC/blob/master/src/libopensc/sc-ossl-compat.h The nice part of this approach is

Vista error 67 The network name cannot be found
This is a repost. Original sent last Friday afternoon received no response. Any ideas would be appreciated. Should I try Samba 4? =-=-=-=-= I have a server which will accept a file sharing connection from a FreeBSD workstation using smbclient, but not from a Vista workstation. The server also performs as a NAT gateway. Upstream network configuration is by DHCP (dhclient), the downstream side is
