I am trying to do a wire level tap on T1 equipment using digum equipment. So far most call monitoring hardware for call centers try to stay on the analog side requiring a lot of rewiring. I have already posted to the list about T1 "bridging" using DAC's support in the zaptel drivers. I still don't know if I can spy on channel information since I don't have any digium

Dear All, Is it possible to install * in front of a Avaya IP 406 system via a T connector E1 tap so it's external to the Avaya system? We would like to record upto 60 channels (2 * ISDN30e). This may increase later. Also, could the calls go into the cdr for retrieval/browsing later? What hardware/server would you recommend? Thanks.

Hi all, Strange request, I have a customer where we are putting an Asterisk PBX in front of a legacy (non-VoIP) PBX. One of the requirements it that the Asterisk PBX have 2 PRI ports (on towards the legacy PBX and one towards the carrier) with the ability to go to pass through should the Asterisk PBX (software or hardware level) fail. I did not see this feature in the Digium, Sangoma, Allo, or
