[ANNOUNCE] OpenChrome DDX Version 0.6 released
Hi everyone,
Finally figured out how to use the X.Org automatic submission
script after realizing that I had to change the script in order for
OpenChrome DDX to build in the first place.
OpenChrome DDX Version 0.6 has added the following new features.
- First official support for CX700, VX700, and VX800 chipsets
integrated TMDS transmitter (i.e., DVI support)
- Initial support for Silicon Image SiI 164 TMDS transmitter

OpenChrome video driver for Centos
I can find xorg-x11-drv-openchrome-0.2.901-1 for EL5,
but not the current xorg-x11-drv-openchrome-0.2.903-1 (which only goes
from FC8 on).
Since my OQOs have the CX700M2 chip and there are listed enhancements
for this chip in the 903 version, I would really like to get it...

X11 build
Morning...
I have a package that I think wants to compile against the X11 source tree.
http://openchrome.org - its a snapshot from there....
Anyway the command it tells me to run is:
xmkmf /usr/src/xc
make
make install
This is to build a updated X graphics driver...
However when I do this I get errors as there is not /usr/src/xc (no
surprise)
I did then "up2date xorg-x11-sdk" however no...

Heads up: Xorg repository moves
...move from a bugzilla/mailing list model to
tracking issues and merge requests in gitlab as well, but we're leaving
that optional and per-component.
I'd hoped to also take this opportunity to merge several of the X-
related projects under the Xorg namespace and (gitlab) group, in
particular openchrome nouveau and xcb. Individual subproject ACLs are
much easier to manage in gitlab, so this is also something of a
formality. But I understand if people would prefer to keep their own
top-level project identity, and if this is your project, please do
speak up.
There are also some questions about whic...

Looking for uuid-devel
Just pulled the lastest patches to HIPL (well the last replay was 11/24,
so a number of nights behind) and tried a 'make rpm' and got the error:
error: Failed build dependencies:
uuid-devel is needed by hipl-1.0.4-1.i386
And I can'd find any rpm that has this module. I have tried different
things in yum and have not found it. resolvedep, whatprovides, info,
list.

Mouse Cursor not visible in winecfg (Ubuntu 8.04 wine-0.9.60
...ly winecfg. I have removed/reinstalled wine, removed my .wine directory to see that they are created.
I also have played with my xorg.conf and enabled/disabled hwcursor and swcursor. I haven't gotten the mouse to be visible with anything I have tried.
It should be noted that my xorg driver is openchrome. the mouse does work, because i can click on buttons and tabs and other things, but I can only click randomly because I cannot see the cursor.
Has anyone seen anything like this?

Mouse cursor disappears while moving in Wine window
Hi all!
Using 64-bit Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope and Wine 1.1.23. Until a week ago, everything worked fine for me, but from that on mouse cursor started disappearing when moving in Wine window. More precisely, it turns "invisible". It still works, but I can't see the cursor. I believe no systemwide changes were made to the system (the user doesn't add apps by herself nor uses

[TTM] general protection fault in ttm_tt_swapout, to_virtual looks screwed up
I've been noticing for a while that i've been getting general
protection faults in ttm_to_swapout, this time i was printk'ing the
virtual addresses.
In case it's not obvious, the result of kmap_atomic() is wrong.
This is nouveau/linux-2.6 which is somewhere after 2.6.32. I was
wondering if anyone has ever seen anything like this?

Camera doesn't works after "yum upgrade"
Hi,
I've launched a "yum upgrade" command on a CentOS6 laptop which has updated
nearly 600 packages. Automatic updates were not working because of a conflict on
a package.
So the laptop is now uptodate but the camera did not works after this. The
message is:
kernel: uvcvideo: Failed to query (GET_DEF) UVC control 6 on unit 2: -110 (exp. 2).
The camera is detected as USB,
