[LLVMdev] optimization whith call of Intrinsics
Dear LLVMer ;
i'm trying to use LLVM for a specific target, using different memory banks.
I have written the frontend to generate a valid IR and want to use the
existing passes (as defined in tool opt) to optimize the code.
The target has specific instructions, so following advices given in
documentation, I created an intrinsic function, with attribute
[IntrReadArgMem].
My test case is

[LLVMdev] Force rematerialization
Hi all,
I'd like to force rematerialization by extending live intervals. For
example:
%vreg1 = opa %vreg2, %vreg3 ; RClassA:%vreg1, RClassB:%vreg2, RClassB:%vreg3
...
somewhere between --> %vreg2<kill> and %vreg3<kill>
..
%vreg4 = opb %vreg1 ; RClassA:%vreg1, RClassB:%vreg4
In my case, %vreg1 is not spillable and I'd like to extend vreg2 and
vreg3 live intervals to get

[LLVMdev] optimization whith call of Intrinsics
Thanks Eli.
I will try your solution, but then, what is the difference between
[IntrReadArgMem] and
[IntrReadMem] when specifying an intrinsic ? It seems that both options
specify that a function is 'readonly'
(maybe the difference is not well supported for then moment ?)

Introducing HardCloud @ FCCM 2018
...C code following the
annotation. A new optional [check] clause is under development to enable
the automatic co-verification of the loopback output, i.e., Y, against the
regular software execution.
A new OpenMP 4.X libomptarget plugin was added to the Clang/LLVM compiler
that leverages on the Intel OPAE library to build a seamless programming
interface.
HardCloud currently enables HARP and HARPSIM device plugins that are
respectively associated with the Intel HARP2 architecture and its
simulator. Design of the Microsoft Catapult plugin is underway.
HardCloud adds two new IP-blocks to the basic I...

Sorry I don't think my first trial worked
I am just starting to use samba, and I keep running into the same
problem time and again. I have installed SAMBA 2.0.2 correctly and have
(i think) a correct smb.conf file. Now when I try to log on to one of my
shares it will not let me in. I get the following errors when logging

Is Intel Omni-Path tested/supported?
Hi,
I am new to GlusterFS. I have 2 computers with Intel Omni-Path hardware/software installed. RDMA is running ok on those according to "ibv_devices" output. GlusterFS "server" installed and set up ok on those. Peer probes on TCP-over-OPA worked ok. I created a replicated volume with transport=tcp, then tested them by mounting the volume on one of servers. Things worked

[PATCH] qemu-xen: adjust MSI-X related log messages
Several of these messages we coded using line continuation within a
string literal. This is generally not recommended and also lead to odd
sequences of many blanks in the middle of the messages.
The message indicating a discarded write due to MSI-X already being
enabled doesn''t need to be issued when a write doesn''t actually modify
the current value. Adjust the surrounding logic

Testing that named_scope is defined
Hi guys,
I''m just beginning to use RSpec and I ran into the issue of testing a
named_scope. I''m not actually trying to test its behavior, as it''s not
my code, but I wanted to test at least that it''s defined. I tried
doing this:
describe Post, ".most_recent" do
it "should be defined" do
Post.method_defined?(:most_recent).should be_true
