wondershaper, host *exclusion*?
Hi,
I really like the wondershaper script, it works very well for me. My
question is this. Is there a way to get certain remote hosts to be
excluded from the shaping? I ask because I don''t have my box connected
directly through the net. It sits behind a nat device, and has ports
forwarded in for services. I''d like to limit the ports and services, but
only to things going outside

tc qdisc add dev eth0 ingress
beginner.tc:2: don''t know how to build meter for this
The script is below, I changed the real IP numbers for XXs and YYs,
since it doesn''t really matter what they are. eth0 is the

samba4 backup script
Hi list
I recently encountered errors while trying to backup the samba4 AD.
Apparently tar had some problems with sockets in the samba4 directory.
I modified the samba4 backup script, perhaps this or a similar change is
good to include upstream?
Cheers

ingress policing based on source address?
Hi all
I''m new to this list, but not exactly to iproute stuff.
I''d like to solve a specific problem with bandwidth coming from
different external sources towards the internal network (also the other
way around, but I figure that''s not so much a problem, since that is
egress traffic shaping).
The network looks like this:
internet ------ ISP-------[shaping/router]
