Which is the imap root directory? Conflicting documentation...
...'s only one of these files in the root mail directory (~/Maildir/ or
~/mail/.imap/).

My .subscription file is located in ~/mail/ but the documentation states
only one should be in ~/mail/.imap/ !!!!

permissions and location of .subscriptions
What is the correct set of permissions for the file .subscriptions and what
is the correct directory location?
