...when i go to "services" gui same is happening. Yesterday i updated the system and rebooted still the problem remains. everything is fine if i do it through the terminal. but when i want to access services , network , yumex , add & remove software they dont start. other programs like Ooffice work. if i check in the terminal they are working. So what is happening ? please help in this matter. i am using centos 5.1 on vmware server 1.0.3. will install on a production server soon. Thanks

...a long time with previous versions, I am facing a bug leading to a crash --> this occurs when I am formatting the cell with any kind of number type... Any ideas to go through this? Hi everybody! I am proud to present you a small project I have been working on for a while: Picolena, a documents search engine written in Rails. ( http://picolena.devjavu.com/ ). It obviously uses Ferret for indexing and searching, and adds some plain text extractors in order to index OOffice.org, pdf and MS Office documents (and some others as well). All, There is a bug in OpenOffice.org in version openoffice.org-1.1.0-15.EL where the help file doesn't open if you select help. Here is the bug and the fix: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=122263 Basically, edit the file /usr/bin/ooffice and find <value>'$lang'</value> then replace it with <value>$lang</value>.
