Reproducable panic with multicast on VLAN interface
Hi, I have a problem with FreeBSD-4.8-STABLE in which the system panics when multicast definitions are being removed from an interface. The later is very easily reproduced by killing zebra. This is a rather serious problem because it makes FreeBSD unusable as a VLAN router in a data center. I filed a PR for this including the traceback (kern/54314), but on examination of the gnats database I

permission bits clobbered
A file is chmod 600. It gets opened on Windows, and it gets changed to 644. Now the secrets are exposed to all users. This is bad! This happens if the user does: N:\> echo foobar > secretfile But it does stay at chmod 600 if he does (append instead of truncate): N:\> echo foobar >> secretfile Why does this happen? The "create mask" parameter is set to 644. I do not

problems with a pri (E1)
Hi all, Our asterisk PBX, randomly restarts all the channels of the E1 connection. It sends this message "There is no D-Channel, using channel 16 anyway".Then the asteisk recive (or it thinks it recives) yellow alarms at all the B-channels, after that it restart all the channels. When restarting the B-channels it cut all the conversations that is handling at that moment. Does anyone

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Detect Haswell subarchitecture (i.e. using -march=native)
Hi Adam, > * I have marked HasAVX2 as "volatile", since otherwise it gets > magically zeroed (by optimizer?) when compiling clang with latest > clang build from trunk That's far more worrying to me than not being able to detect Haswell. I can't reproduce the problem here at the moment: both debug and release builds give identical assembly for Host.cpp. I don't

filled maps
Hi R-Help, I would like to make filled contour maps of ocean data overlaid by costlines from the map package. I can draw the filled contours and the coastlines om the same plot, but the filled contour also covers part of the land. To get rid of that I tried to draw a filled coastline map on top of the filled contour, but the filled map only draws the closed contours - so most of the land is

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Detect Haswell subarchitecture (i.e. using -march=native)
Hello, This is my first patch on this list, however I've already submitted several trough bug tracking system. Since it probably needs some review and it's not a bug I am submitting it here. The main intent of this patch is to detect "core-avx2" platform on Haswell i7 CPUs when running -march=native. Currently it detects it as generic x86_64. lib/Support/Host.cpp: * Haswell is

I know the reason you cannot reproduce it, before posting the patch I've decided to check for AVX before checking AVX2, just not to cpuid AVX2 when we don't have AVX1 anyway.

SOM library for R
Hi. Three years ago, I've read the question of availability of SOM library for R using Kohonen's SOM_PAK in this mailing-list. This answer was no availability. And no package dealing with SOM in CRAN. Is this situation same? Could you tell me availability this library? Best Regards.

How to draw holes generated by gpclib using plot function
Hi. I've tried to create a polygon with one hole by gpclib using following example script. holepoly <- read.polyfile(system.file("poly-ex/hole-poly.txt", package ="gpclib"), nohole = FALSE) area.poly(holepoly) plot(holepoly, poly.args=list(col="red",border="blue")) And I noticed plot function couldn't draw polygons with holes correctly.

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Detect Haswell subarchitecture (i.e. using -march=native)
Pretty sure you need to check EAX>=7 from cpuid leaf 0 before calling leaf 7 and you need to use the pass ECX=0 to leaf 7. See lib/Target/X86/X86Subtarget.cpp which uses a GetX86CpuIDAndInfoEx function to pass EAX and ECX to cpuid. I don't think it explains your compiler bug though. DC Upgrade Compiled to Package
Hi all- Our domain controllers are old and hand-crafted and we are looking to replace them with the latest version (as well as make them easily redeployable). Our current version is 2:4.0.6-12 (compiled from source and we hope to jump up to the latest packaged version as available in the Ubuntu Xenial repositories. I've seen this page: https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Updating_Samba and
