Hashing for short pathnames
Hi, using samba 2.2.5-UL (on a SuSE-SLOX-System) we have to mangle long pathnames to short ones. We need this for some of our apps which generate batch-files (*.bat) for compilation. Normally this works correctly, exept for a directory named "Only_for_generation". This directory is mangled into "Only_~%0" (it' s NULL at the end). And this is the problem. In batch-files (*.bat) you shouldn't use this, because it meens to call the batch itself (like $0 in bash-scripts). There must be a possibility to exclude "%&q...

[Maybe OT]: SIP Provider
Hi all! Currently I'm using Messagenet, a SIP-Provider in Italy, to have an italian number via VoIP, _to receive calls only_. Q on configuring shared mboxes
...ch in mbox format I want the 1) to be only accessible to the respective <user>, obviously (POP3 and/or IMAP4). I wanted the 2) to be accessible to all users -- and I want them to be able to move stuff out of it into their own mboxes (IMAP4 is enough). I want the 3) to be accessible _read only_ to anyone, who enters the correct username/password (preferably -- without creating a special Unix account). (IMAP4 or POP3) So far, I have only been able to achieve 1). Could someone, please, help me configure dovecot for the 2) and the 3)? Thanks! -mi

symbolic linking libs | thanks!
Several good suggestions were sent my way - much appreciated. In my experience, any solution to a problem that gives a user write access to anything other than their own /home directories is a disaster waiting to happen (spoken as someone who has burned in past doing otherwise). So, I'll pursue some approaches that don't reequire the /lib access option. [[alternative HTML version

This release contains Kerberos and GSSAPI related changes that we would like to get some feedback about (and hopefully address any issues with) before the release. I encourage anyone with an interest in

Multiple IRQ''s in HVM for Windows
I really need to have the ability to tie event channel port''s to interrupts for my gplpv drivers under Windows. Is anyone working on anything like this? Does MSI allow more than one interrupt per PCI device? Thanks James _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
