Samba 4.19 and OpenLDAPs
I had a side suggestion from a list member whether nslcd was a possibility, using winbind for the authentication and nslcd to get the rfc2307 attributes. This was essentially my approach since nslcd and SSSD are performing the same role - connecting to an LDAP server for RFC2307. I have SSSD working with RHEL. RHEL has dropped NSLCD packages in favor of SSSD, but they are still available in

Penalty function constrained optimization
Hi All, I am trying to use optim() to minimize a function with a penalty function term. This is a simple model bioeconomic model of a fishery. The penalty function constrains the amount of effort (f) at 9. This works fine. The code is: ********** nfleets<-2 M<-1 M<-array(M,dim=c(nfleets)) N<-1000 cost<-c(30,30) cost<-array(cost,dim=c(nfleets)) Price<-2

So I took 4 harddrives out of it and placed it in the other Linux box. I thought it would be able to read these right away. (maybe this was my mistake?) I could mount all of the drives in there. three of my

Help required for Research
Hi, I am a graduate student at Oregon State University pursuing my Masters degree in Computer Science. I am interested in conducting research on the bug reports in many open source projects. I would like to study how the projects manage their bug reports and identifying how Bugzilla and similar bug repository systems could be improved to facilitate this process. I have a bunch of Perl scripts
