DNAT for ongoing UDP flows
Hi,
i need to dynamically change the destination IP address
of UDP packets for an ongoing UDP flow. That means
when the flow starts for the first time no change
is needed and after some time a change of the destination
IP address must be done to redirect the packets to another
machine dynamically. For new flows this could be done using e.g.:
iptables -t nat -A OUTPUT/PREROUTING -p u...

Difficulties With Posting To Ongoing Threads on the R Mailing List
A number of people are having the same problem as me, when you post as
a response to an ongoing thread, in place of your message, the
following message appears:
An embedded & charset-unspecified text was scrubbed ...
and a link is given that leads to the desired message.
It's better than nothing , but it sure is annoying, and some readers
will skip it instead of doing the extra...

RES: RES: RES: How to invoke a binary file from the dial plan?
Hi Kevin.
Thank you again for help me!
In my case, in the final application for smartphones or in a softphone for PCs, there will be a button on the GUI and the user will have just to touch it, and the door or gate will open. I mean, during an ongoing call, the callee will see a button in the interface of its SIP application. For example, we can use the lib of Linphone and implement a GUI over it, having a new button to open doors and gates. So, the callee will not have to remember about codes, because there will be a button in someplace to b...

The best way to stop an ongoing call
...other
- supervisor C detects the call is on-going for too long (as, for example,
others are waiting to use the phone)
- C dials a special command that would play a short music to A and/or B and
then cut the call 30 seconds later.
At the moment, I would use :
- System, cron and soft hangup to stop ongoing call
- ChanSpy to barge into ongoing call plus a dynamic feature to playback a
pre-recorded message when supervisor dials a DTMF sequence.
I also wondered if if should instead move each party to a conference room
with a timer.
Suggestions ?

HA: what is missing to keep ongoing calls during failover ?
Hi,
What is currently missing in Asterisk ecosystem to get 2 servers
active-active redundancy such as when server 1 is failing (in some
circumstances), its ongoing calls (or most of them) are kept alive and
handed over to server 2 ?
I remember that a couple of years ago, Avaya claimed it could achieve this
with its high end servers.
Could it be possible with Asterisk ? Will SCF change this ?

How to find RTP address of ongoing call?
Hi list,
probably this is a FAQ but I can't seem to find it. How to find the RTP
IP address of an ongoing SIP call?
"sip show channels" seems to list the RTP address under the very left
column called "Peer". And it also lists the associated "Call ID" which I
could associate with a call by executing sip show channel <Call ID> and
before figuring out the Channel...

Ongoing performance issues with 2.0.x
Due to the ongoing performance issues with 2.0.x I switched back to
1.2.15 yesterday evening, with no changes to the machine or my users.
(I migrated from 1.2.15 to 2.0.x by converting the existing config)
Today, we have MUCH LESS load, with the same number of logins/min.
I cannot say what exactly causes this i...

How do you force a VM reboot (when its KPd etc) without interrupting a blockcopy?
My question is this:
If you have an ongoing blockcopy (drive-mirror) of a running transient VM, and the VM kernel panics, can you restart the VM without interrupting the ongoing blockcopy?
A virsh reboot won't work since if the VM is kernel panicked, its not going to respond to ACPI requests.

This depends which 'project' you mean. You've
posted to ogg-dev, the libogg api itself hasn't needed
to change much, though this change made it in:
<http://lists.xiph.org/pipermail/ogg-dev/2007-January/000357.html>
I think Monty's statement there sums it up:

Ogg Vorbis DirectShow decoder filter - ongoing development ?
...f timestamps. When passing the data from the Ogg/OGM
parser/splitter filter this is no issue as both are probably synced very
well internally, but if the filter shall be used from other splitters
such as AVI/MP4/MPEG, problems will occur.
The purpose of this email is to find out if there is any ongoing
development for a new Vorbis decoder filter for M$ DirectShow, which
will be more compliant with respect to timestamp handling. If this is
the case, we would be glad to contribute. If this is not the case, we
will consider writing a new decoder filter, being open source but under
a GPL lice...

Working with an ongoing call
...WARNING BEEP;
else if (out of credit) EXIT WITH MESSAGE;
}
}
hangup_trap:
Commit credit based on actual call length;
EOF
I realize that this probably needs to be done as a combination of dialplan
logic and AGIs, but my main concern is the ability to
1) send sound to the caller of an ongoing call
2) retain control so the call can be terminated based on a timer (or whatever)
Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

C7 and firewalld, ongoing
I've got my direct rules, converted from a C6 iptables-save. I load them -
they're to add to the built-in FORWARD chain. They all seem to load... but
then, when I try to --reload, I get
Error: BUILTIN_CHAIN: chain 'FORWARD' is built-in chain
and firewall-cmd --direct --get-all-rules returns nothing. A sample
command in my script is
firewall-cmd --permanent --direct --add-rule ipv4

XSPF is a playlist format in XML. It's a simple and efficient
standard to develop playlists for digital players, online radios and
whatever the future may bring.
It's a great standard and, with some

Well, it really depends on your skills and interests. A lot of people
start by helping with tool development, for example, since it gives
you an overview of everything and is less technical than the codec
work.
If you're a coder, I could use some help with subtitle and mng

Ambitious newbie with some ongoing Q's
I'm new to the list and I've been playing about with R for some months
now, mostly using the power analysis routines including the "pwr"
package.
I'm currently looking at a project which will require a
repeated-measures MANCOVA.
I've been reviewing the files available at CRAN, including

Ongoing problem with 1.8
I have tried installing many of the beta versions and most of the
release versions of 1.8. I have 3 SIP phones which we use for all our
calls. After installing 1.8 the first thing I try is calling out port
one of my Digium TDM04 back into port 2. I can see that the call
comes in and tries to call all three SIP phones but the phones never
ring. Eventually the call goes to voice mail and these

CentOS 6: the ongoing saga
We'll ignore that the group name for KDE changed, and so, since we had it
on the same line as X, neither was installed.
However, more of an annoyance: to get nfs working, I had to install:
pam-krb5
ncsd
then fix /etc/init.d/autofs (when I did a service restart, it told me
automount was running, and did not stop it), then after some research,
found I had to manually start rpcbind, *then*

Ongoing VM saga ....
.... I have a 64-bit CentOS 5.6 VM running on a 64-bit FC-14 host. I was
originally using the stock NAT networking on the guest, which could
access the host, but nothing else on the network. I eventually found
some links on how to setup routed networking on the guest using a
specifically setup bridge. I followed the example a bit too closely,
bridging my eth0 interface, which is the one I
