Errors checking a library
Hi I am writing an R library. The documentation for one of my functions includes an example that I *know* works - simply cut and paste into R on either Windows and Linux and it works perfectly, no errors or warnings, nothing, nyet. However, when I run "R CMD check" on the library, I get an error. I am running R CMD check on linux, and the offending piece of code appears to be:

32bit HVM PV drivers on 64bit hypervisor
Hi Steven, I onced played with your PV-on-HVM driver before it is checked in into unstable, I remember at that time, there is a XENFEAT_64bit_shared_info flag to handle situation of 32bit guest on 64bit hypervisor, at least vnif works fine with it. Later, when the code is checked in, this flag is gone. At first I though this was an effort to make hypervisor more transparent to HVM guest, but now

Erik, Why not also check if -lssp is required? If the toolchain has SSP disabled it should not be passing. Check onces without -lssp and another time with -lssp if it failed. Also, I don't think a trivial hello world will cause SSP code to be emitted, try adding some arrays in stack with a deliberate overrun possibility for the link test. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scru...

Sipura config
This question isn't entirely Asterisk related, but I'm hoping that someone here may have the knowledge to respond to me anyway. I'm using Asterisk with several Sipura SPA-2000 SIP devices as FXS adapters. I would like to have my SPA's automatically provisioned through http or tftp, but I can't find any information on how to do so. Sipura's tech-support has not been very

[LLVMdev] Possible LiveInterval Bug

But doesn't that imply we've had some messed up intervals being created for quite some time, even onces where IP was _not_ end()? How the heck did this ever work? :-/ -Dave

Doubt on Samba and NFS configuration
Hi Team, I have doubt on samba and nfs co-existence on a server. I have read couple of posts in the internet and found that nfs and samba doesn't understand file locking mechanisms of each other. Following is my requirement I have a vxfs filesystem /interfaces which is exported to 3 unix servers using nfs Now the customer, wants to export /interfaces/outbound to 4 windows servers using

Dear R users,I am looking for an easy (i.e., direct) way in obtaining the F and p values from the intercept in anovas with within-subject designs. Call log reveals redundant calls!
Hi, all-- What do you make of this? Here's my call log--looks like there are a lot of calls going in and out of the server that are not real incoming or outgoing calls. Does anybody have any clue what is happening? 2006-11-14 16:41:00 Local/8183... 8183461773 "8183461773" <8183461773> 8183461773 NO ANSWER 1 47. 2006-11-14 16:40:59 IAX2/Voice... 8183461773

NT4 user can't change password during logon (but XP can)
When a password must be changed during logon (pdbedit <user> --pwd-must-change-time=0) then this is impossible on NT4 SP6a machines; we always get this error: "Unable to change the password on this account (C00000BE). Please consult your system administrator.". At that time we get these messages in log.smbd: <<<< log.smbd <<<< [Tue May 9 10:46:17 2006 ,
