Also, as I was reading through the source, I found a notation that some
events were unknown as to their function. Here are the functions of the
ones I could figure out (for the OMNI1000 LCD):
8400d0: 0 when on battery, 1 when on wall power
84004b: 0 when on wall power and battery (sorry, not much help on this
one)
840045: 1 when on battery and also 1 immediately after wall power is
restored, but changes to 0 after about 5-10 seconds

Tripp Lite OMNI1000 LCD issues
I wrote a while back about the inability to kill the
following command with anything but "kill -9" and the
apparent high speed polling rate.
# /lib/nut/usbhid-ups -u root -DDD -a trippy

Device descriptor: VID:09ae, PID:2007
Device release:0x10, USB release:0x110
Descriptor Length:18, Type:1
Device Class:0, Subclass:0, Protocol:0, Num Cfgs:1
Max packet size for end point zero= 8
This model is supposed to...

Fwd: Fun with TrippLite
Hi Charles and Jonathan,
I am going through my over 300 unread NUT messages, and I just
discovered this one from mid-December. At the time, I was trying to
clean up the tripplite subdriver of newhidups, but never got the
information I needed. I have enabled this driver now, but it is marked
"experimental". The driver is still incomplete, in the sense that
there are many unmapped device
