I have samba-4.6.2-12.el7_4.x86_64 which is connected to WIndows Active
Directory Server.
I configured samba with AD as below:

I do not know if there is a uidNumber in Active Directory, I am not an
administrator of Microsoft AD.
So you claimed that I need add an extra parameters uidNumber and gidNumber
to the MS Active Directory user, and add an extra value to each of them?
I think that It will be impossible and too much extra work.
I need similiar funcionality than it was in the previous version.
So mabye I shoud change

Netlogon stoped working
Hello,
I use Samba 4.4.7 on a Debian testing with bind9.9.5_DLZ.
I have a DC and a test-station windows7.
The execution of the login.bat was working fine and it stopped working suddently.
Here is my krb5.conf :
[libdefaults]
default_realm = MYDOMAIN.XXX.XXX
dns_lookup_realm = false
dns_lookup_kdc = true
Here is my smb.conf :
[global]
netbios name = MAMACHINE
realm = MONDOMAIN.XXX.XXX

Re: ocfs2 and configfs.ko..fixed...but gnuparted has issues....
I was able to get the source code for ocfs2 and compile it. This worked and created the necessary .ko files
Now I have to figure out why gnu parted 1.6.15 has bugs. when I try a partprobe on a partitioned firewire maxtor drive
mount -t ocfs2 /dev/sdb1 /u01/oradata/orcl
It says no such device....
Any ideas anyone?...

I am maintaining a distribution loosely based on LFS and am now trying
to add UEFI support. Integrating a FAT formatted partition image
containing, preloader, gummiboot, kernel and initramfs correctly results
in a ISO image that is bootable on BIOS and UEFI systems if booted from
the optical drive.
