Basic ISOLINUX question
...run a couple of scripts to copy
files onto a machine's hard drive.
What exactly do I need to put in my isolinux.cfg file? Do I *need* to have
a initrd or can I do without? How do I tell ISOLINUX where to find the
root filesystem (or does it figure it out itself)?

Failure with 1st isolinux attempt
...quot;.
The /lfs/isolinux directory contains 3 files: isolinux.bin,
isolinux.cfg, and lfskernel.
The isolinux.cfg contains:
DEFAULT linux auto
LABEL linux
KERNEL /isolinux/lfskernel
APPEND "root=/dev/cdroms/cdrom0"
Anyone got any suggestions?

Sorry to ask, but where can I find icecast2 and vorbis?
<p>www.icecast.org only talks about icecast, not icecast2.
Where an one find the apps/tools for the latest-greatest?
Tx in advance.

Vorbis releases are to be found on www.vorbis.com - to get Icecast2,
check out the module "icecast" from cvs.xiph.org. www.xiph.org/cvs.html
has the necessary instructions. Latest/Greatest versions of all Xiph
stuff can be found there, too.

massive props to the vorbis and icecast2 people.. this is truely
impressive stuff guys. we're going live with pure icecast2/vorbis
monday. its scary that 56K vorbis sounds almost as good as 128K mp3.
this is a lifesaver as our isp is about to pull the plug for excessive
bandwidth usage :>
