Does your rkhunter do an md5 check?
I rebuilt rkhunter-1.2.8-1.noarch.rpm by using the spec and tgz from the rkhunter site (www.rootkit.nl). (I rebuilt it using his instructions.) However rkhunter does not do an md5 check. The box used to have fedora and each time there were updates it would complain that the some of the md5's don't match. I contacted the author using his contact feature on Wednesday but he hasn't

Why is the 64bit Windows version of package RSVGTipsDevice not available on CRAN?
On CRAN, the package RSVGTipsDevice is only installed for 32bit Windows, and is not available as a 64bit package for Windows. The file linked to in the package check summary on CRAN says "NB: this package is only installed for sub-architecture 'i386' ". What do I need to do to make it available as both 64bit and 32bit on CRAN? (I am the maintainer of the package). It builds,

Thunderbird subscription bug ?
Hello Timo, I'm having a hard time trying to understand why Thunderbird 3.0.3 doesn't allow me to subscribe to a shared mailbox which I can subscribe to via Kmail for instance. I'm running dovecot-1.2.11/Maildir. The user 'doveimap' shares his mailbox folder/subfolder to the 'dovepop' user which should see it in the '#shared' shared namespace at the following

Hi *, as this is my first post I want to say hello to everybody. Well, and unfortunatly I''ve already got a question for you: I''ve installed a guest domain (OS: CentOS 4) on my xen-machine and it''s para-virtualised (just to provide the information ;) ). After the installation and mount the image containing the guest to copy the necessary modules for the xen-kernel,

Note: information on .o files is not available
I'm developing an R package with compiled code in CUDA C/C++. I ran R CMD check on it, and there are no errors or warnings. However, there is a note that reads, "Note: information on .o files is not available". What does this mean? I can't find any clues on the web, in the documentation, or in the source of the devtools package. Here is the full output of my R CMD check. *

Atomic modesetting + DisplayPort MST
Hey all, I've just pushed out the initial Nouveau support for $subject \o/ As the atomic modesetting transition is basically a rewrite of the KMS portion of the driver, I would be very grateful for any additional testing that people could provide (even as simple as just booting and making sure you get a display is valuable). There's a Linux tree at
