R integration with Microsoft Powerpoint
Please allow me an unusual question.
Is there any way that R can be closely integrated with a Microsoft
Powerpoint presentation? I would like to embed R calculations in
Powerpoint so that I will start Powerpoint, be prompted to enter some
parameters, and an R function will run and return values and graphs.
Thanks,
John

List and Column Names in a Function?

Maybe this example will be easier to understand and troubleshoot.
ds <- function(myds, vec) {myds[[vec]]*2}
ds1 <- c(X=list(1:10), Y=list(11:20))
ds(get("ds1"),get("Y"))

FIML with missing data in sem package
...mplete information on X1-X3, but missing data (MAR) on X4.
Is there a way to use FIML in this case? I know lavaan and openmx allow you
to do it, but I couldn't find anything in the documentation for the sem
package. Thanks!

How to extract x rows to get x pvalues using t.test
...0.4198002
i get 1 pvalue for the entire col1:col2 Vs col3:col4. I am trying to get 5 p values for the 5 rows i have.
I am trying to avoid a for loop coz my actual data has 56000 rows and its taking more than 4 minutes to
compute.
Thanks in advance.

Missing Data Line Type?
...it dashed up to the next existing x/y point.
Additionally, what plot type would you recommend for a plot with two Y
points per X? The two points would be joined by a vertical line. The
average of the two is the dual type line described above.

Help in Overlaying of 2 Plots on the same Device.
...plot the second. My second plot is creating its own axis and causing my plot to extend the entire histogram instead of getting a subplot on a portion of the histogram. I tried 'fig' and 'new' parameters with no luck.
Thanks in advance.

Using a for loop is expensive and time consuming since my actual vector is 15000 values.
Any help to rectify the warning i get is appreciated.

IAX over HTTP
For work environments where you only get HTTP or HTTPS access, what is
the feasibility of doing IAX over HTTP?
I have heard of projects such as stunnel.
Has anyone tried something like this?
I did a quick search but didn't come up with much.

WeatherScope Color-Choosing Issues
Hi All,
In my continuing efforts to get WeatherScope running flawlessly under
Wine, I've noticed issues with WeatherScope's built in color chooser.
When you run the program, by default a map of Oklahoma appears. If you
right click on the entry in the legend (on the left side) and select
properties, you have the option of choosing the color. If you click on
the small color button, the program pops up a "widget" that has a grid
of colors to choose from, not the standard color picker. Un...
