lxc - pass filesystem off host's automounts
...    <filesystem type='mount' accessmode='passthrough'>       <source dir='/home'/>       <target dir='/home'/>     </filesystem> ... and on the host /home/* are user home dirs which are automounted off a glusterfs volume. The guest starts okey, I can see dirs under /home but if I go to /home/userA I get: ls: cannot access /home/userA/: Too many levels of symbolic links Do you know if what I'm trying should just work a okey? many thanks, L.

Win32: problem with tinc-up script
Okey, this is new and better version. Now we handle wait up to hardcoded (for now) value. After wait (IP stack reconf or timeout) we launch 'tinc-up' script. To handle initial TAP device traffic, script is now launched in separate thread. This version works 100% for me under Win2003. ---------...

Win32: problem with tinc-up script
Okey, after more extensive R&D and testing I came up with 2 final solutions: 1) external tool: wipchg 2) internal tincd: wait_device(int secs) Both solution works 100% time (tested on Win2003). I publish them here, so interested parties can do they own testing. 1) ftp://borg.uu3.net/home/borg/tmp...

openVswitch
...rface "vnet41"         Port nm-team             trunks: [55]             Interface nm-team         Port "ovsbr0"             Interface "ovsbr0"                 type: internal     ovs_version: "2.0.0" In libvirt openvswitch network defines & starts okey, both guests start okey, yet guests cannot ping one another. Ifaces in guests seem to instantiate okey cause each guest can ping its own IP (on libvirt openvswitch net) You can see that on each host openvswitch port is nm-team, which I presume must be pretty "regular" situation. receive_smb_raw_talloc failed for client - cannot get to shares
hi guys I have classic nt-style samba and windows 10 clients (one even updated to 1803 and works okey) but(as there always have to be a but).. I've just got new installation off a 1709 build but this time it's "Education N" (where Pro 1709 does not have this problem) and the problem is: I cannot get to shares, on that "Education N" I get no login/credentials prompt w...

Solarflare SFC9000 direct connection
...he servers onto 10GbE network. Setup is such that three Dell R815 are connected to each other, each has one Solarflare(SFP ports) and each Solarflare is set as net-team(both ports on a card are net-team device) with runner in broadcast mode. And it all seems to work, they ping each other, iperf okey. The problem, big problem is that when traffic start to flow between all three servers simultaneously, with rsync for example, then!! one box gets shoot in the head, hard reset, gone. Every time same one box. Sure there are some bits that run on that one box that are not on the other two. Now...

pGINA and samba - authentication against LDAP userPassword field?
...Password and sambaLMPassword, this way samba can use the userPassword field directly. This sounds very promissing because we can then just use one set of passwords. It may be not usable in a domain enviroment where machine accounts and other complex stuff are difficult to hand. But it is perfectly okey for a single linux machine in a workgroup mode. It can even provides user authentication to other Windows box with pGINA installed and configured. Here is the original thread discussed about this: http://lists.samba.org/archive/samba/2005-March/101660.html I am wondering where the samba team c...

FreeIPA - client/replica errors
...file /etc/sssd/sssd.conf was moved to /etc/sssd/sssd.conf.deleted Client uninstall complete. The ipa-client-install command failed. See /var/log/ipaclient-install.log for more information It's not time sync problem, server & client candidate are in sync. Simple install, server installed okey but client fails as above. Does your IPA VERSION: 4.5.0, API_VERSION: 2.228 install okey, with no problems? many thanks, L.

Opus supported source client without transcoding?
Okey, thanks. Do you have any idea what I might use for feedings files to oggfwd? I have done a bit of searching, but I can't really find anything. With mpd it's possible to set a file as output with their fifo output plugin: http://www.musicpd.org/doc/user/ch05s06.html#idp58733200 But it seems...

[LLVMdev] Debian packaging?
Okey dokey. I'll start setting things up. I think what I'll do is start with 1.1 (or the infamous and soon-to-be-released 1.2 :). Once that works, I'll probably put together a CVS snapshot version. I know LLVM currently supports ia32 and SPARC; is anyone looking at any other architecture...

Win32: problem with tinc-up script
Okey, after more testing its not working 100% Seems when tinc start when windows is booting, the windows IP stack does a lot of other things and so NotifyAddrChange() returns earlier for other interfaces probably. Seems fixing that is much harder that I expected. More research is needed to correctly fi...
