repodata
Hello, we would like to sync all files from http://oirase.annexia.org/virt-p2v/ with Foreman/Katello. Is it possible to provide "repodata" for this public directory? Without it we can not sync it. Greets, Denis

libguestfs for RHEL 6.5 preview repository
In RHEL 6.5 we are probably going to rebase libguestfs, febootstrap and virt-v2v. As usual when this happens, I've put up a preview repository: http://oirase.annexia.org/tmp/libguestfs-RHEL-6.5/ If you want to use these packages, the easiest thing to do is to copy the attached file into /etc/yum.repos.d/ and simply install or upgrade libguestfs. If you want to test libguestfs, obviously run 'libguestfs-test-tool' and also try a few things here...

Notes on compiling libguestfs 1.24 on RHEL 6.4
(Actually, libguestfs from git, but 1.24 and git are pretty close now) First install augeas 1.0.0 from here: http://oirase.annexia.org/tmp/libguestfs-RHEL-6.5/ Check out libguestfs from git. You'll need to create two files in the libguestfs source directory: "localconfigure" containing: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- source localenv # qemu is too old (< 1.0)...

fetching virt-p2v GUI on fedora 21
We need one simple deployment of converting a given server with some OS converted to a Virtual Machine. i.e. -> to have a simple Linux/fedora machine and install apache or any web server for testing or any application for that matter - the purpose here is to see if this application works after the conversion to a virtual machine -> Convert P2V using the tools. -> Start virtual machine

Hello, I am trying to make a .iso to p2v some old windows servers, and I installed a brand new FC22 server to build my images I run virt-p2v-make-kickstart fedora livecd-creator p2v.ks and I get the following error: Installing: grubby ##################### [435/436] Installing: uboot-tools ##################### [436/436] Installing:

...ains this patch. Unfortunately I cannot upload it to the website[2] for some reason right now, so I have put it here[3] instead temporarily. virt-v2v valgrind errors in libosinfo
Hi Pino: I've suppressed some OCaml and libosinfo valgrind errors in virt-v2v. The remaining valgrind errors are here: http://oirase.annexia.org/tmp/v2vvg/ They all seem to be basically the same. But I couldn't work out if these are expected leaks in the libosinfo code (in which case we should suppress them), or if they are actual bugs because we are missing a true destructor here: https://github.com/libguestfs/virt-v2v...

Re: Can I specify qcow2 preallocation method with virt-builder?
...To force a particular preallocation mode for the output image, an extra step might be required, and that would have to be modelled in the planner. The blog post above is quite interesting. Yup, livecd-tools is broken junk. I'm building ISOs you can download here: http://oirase.annexia.org/virt-p2v The RHEL-7.2-preview/ directory contains the latest version, and should work fine with virt-v2v from Fedora.
