Re: Online Monthly Meeting scheduled to 11th July 2007, 06:00 UTC; Confirmed
Guys and Silvia, do come please. If this meeting is a fiasco, there will be a lot of stuff to discuss on some other meeting in what...? November? Not good. If you cannot come in time (like Silvia and Sebastian) we will wait a bit, but do come. If you cannot come at all, state your opinions on the issues at hand through the mailing lists. Your opinion is important.

Clarification on MIME types
...MP3. Also, not a large list of MIME types to register. However, it may become harder for developers to support everything out there under audio/ogg. This concern applies as well to video/ogg, but not to application/ogg, because it would be impossible to track all possible mixes that might go in .ogx -Ivo

Skeletal relations
We have new drafts of CMML 4.0 as a text codec and ROE as an xml stream abstract, subsuming the authoring support in CMML 3.1 and earlier. Another thing we talked about at LCA is a how to specify relationships between the various streams in Ogg so that a server, muxer or player can make intelligent decisions about the contained tracks. The general idea is to use the (http-style) Message

Ogg/Kate preliminary documentation
Hi, I recognize the main name behind CMML here :) Does the redesigning of CMML allow overlapping clips ? This is the main reason of my current ramblings about seeking. While karaoke was one of the initial goals behind kate, it is just a way the format can be used with (in fact, the format itself does not refer to karaoke at all, but styles and motions). At the moment, it is a fairly versatile

libogg++ release 1.1.0
Hi everybody, I posted here about two years ago about the initial release. This is a release that fixes many bugs, and has enhancements that make it possible to support a multi-stream format, ALingA, which I will mention briefly later. It also supports a PCM format, Neuro, both as part of the multi-stream codec, and stand-alone. libogg++ is a C++ library implementing Ogg. It is designed to be

libogg++ release 1.1.0
...etermine this: Do you also support Skeleton in libogg++ ? If you are creating multitrack Ogg files, they should contain a skeleton track to identify the different contained tracks. http://wiki.xiph.org/OggSkeleton And if the files aren't audio or video files, you should then use the extension .ogx http://wiki.xiph.org/index.php/MIME_Types_and_File_Extensions . You may already be doing all of this - I just wasn't able to verify, therefore the question. Cheers, Silvia.
