After the reboot, things seem pretty normal. However, I found this in

Can't join domain as DC
Hello,
I have 2 offices connected through VPN (all ipv4 and ipv6 traffic allowed),
every office with it's own subnet. I built a DC in office1 for
mydomain.local, built a second one in same office and joined mydomain.local
with no problem. Then i built a DC in office2, but when i try it to join
mydomain.local, the join process blocks at "Setting account password for
OFFICE2-DC$" and throws an error after some time.
Here is the full output of the join:
root at office2-dc:~# samba-tool domain join mydomain.local DC -Umyuser

SIP CallerID Question
...g Asterisk PBX's that register
to each other via SIP so that calls can be transferred from office to
office. Everything is working great on the office to office transfers,
but I'd like to somehow make the CallerID more useful. Currently if an
extension at Office1 dials an extension at Office2 the CID on the phone
at Office2 says "Office1". The same thing happens if a person at
Office1 transfers an incoming call to Office2. The caller ID at Office2
always just says "Office1".
What I would like to happen would be when Bob at Extension 12 at Office1
calls Office2...

Connecting two asterisks via IAX
Hi,
I need to connect 2 asterisks in 2 different countries (A and B) for one
company so it's possible to make connections between the 2 offices.
For connectivity reasons (NAT traversal) i want to connect the 2 asterisk
with IAX so that when a user on office A connects via SIP to user on office
B the call is going trought IAX channel.
Can anyone give me an ideia how to accomplish

incoming call should ring on several dahdi channels
Hi,
I need a feature from asterisk with dahdi channels, if there is an
incoming call, it should ring on several dahdi channels.
My channels look like:
OFFICE1=DAHDI/13,,rtT
OFFICE2=DAHDI/14,,rtT
If I add this line:
exten => 12345678,1,Dial(${OFFICE1}&{OFFICE2})
only OFFICE1 rings.
If I change it to
exten => 12345678,1,Dial(DAHDI/13&DAHDI/14)
DAHDI/13 and 14 rings together, but I can't add the ,,rtT features (the
biggest problem is the person who picke...

Information setting up asterisk with an ISDN NT
...of all, I've been reading a lot and a lot about asterisk and ISDN-BRI,
but is really a complicated world, not like PRI or Analog.
I have 2 offices with 2 NT boxes and I want to connect them with Asterisk to
route outgoing from one office two the other. At the end I want them to look
like this Office2 will have only VoIP phones (not ISDN phones connected to a
card in asterisk) and routing all traffic to the asterisk in office1 which
then makes the call. I also want to port the extension numbers from Office2
to Office1 and let asterisk use them for outgoing calls (I think I have to
have a card su...

geo-replication loops
Hi,
I was thinking about a common (I hope!) use case of Glusterfs geo-replication.
Imagine 3 different facility having their own glusterfs deployment:
* central-office
* remote-office1
* remote-office2
Every client mount their local glusterfs deployment and write files
(i.e.: user A deposit a PDF document on remote-office2), and it get
replicated to the central-office glusterfs volume as soon as possibile
using geo-replication feature. After a while, that PDF document should
be replicated to rem...

[PATCH] fix free of event channel in blkfront
Hi All,
We tested the xm block-attach/detach command.
It repeats block-attach/detach command for DomU and pv-on-hvm on HVM Domain.
(block-attach -> block-detach -> block-attach -> block-detach -> ...)
The block-attach command failed when repeating 256 times.
It is because the channel had not been freed in blkfront.
Therefore, it remain using the event channel.

Office to Office via IAX2 problems
...is one post. I can provide more info if necessary.
ISSUE 1:
Office A routinely looses connection to Office B. When typing IAX2
Show Peers, it will show as Unreachable. I issue IAX2 Reload and it
will work again for 1-3 days (haven't narrowed the time down yet). My
theory is that the DSL at Office2 is changing IP addresses regularly
and this is the cause of the problem??? This has been going on since
I set up Office B (2-3 weeks). I never had to touch Office B box.
Office B seemed to maintain connection, until now (see Issue 2).
ISSUE 2:
Office B will not connect to Office A via IAX2 any...

Choosing O/S for dom0 host with xen 3.2 - best option?
Hi,
I (just) posted something similar to this on the fedora-xen list so
apologies if some of you see it twice.
I''m about to commission a new dom0 host to host multiple dom0 instances
for testing purposes. I''m currently trying to decide what platform to
use. I''ve previously used FC6 and CentOS5 as Dom0 hosts.
I''d like to be able to use Xen 3.2, and I see

Multiple locations, 2 servers - planning questions...
...so how will
this work when they are accessing it from outside the office, where each
office has its own public IP? I'd prefer to not rely on users using the
correct hostname (currently, we just use 'mail.example.com', and I know
I could set up two new ones - office1.example.com and
office2.example.com - but then I'd be relying on the users to get it
right, and I'd prefer to avoid that can of worms). I guess a worst case
scenario (if there is no better way) would be to do it that way, then
watch the logs for users who get it wrong and are using the inter-office
connection,...

For Mathias,
If your using sites and different dns domains. Like
Office1.domain.tld
Office2.domain.tld
Etc.
You set the dns advances setting to force correct
Append primary and connection specific DNS suffixes
See: https://technet.microsoft.com/nl-nl/library/cc754143.aspx
And this can be done also by GPO.
