POP3 Mails Not Deleted
Dear all, Hi. This is imacat from Taiwan. We are running Dovecot 1.1.1. I received complaints from one of my colleagues. She checks her mails both from home and from office, so she left her mails in the server for 3 days. This morning she got lots of received mails again. I tracked the syslog, and found the following records: ============ Jul 2 18:39:59 odin dovecot: POP3(mindyw):

NHW Project - some news
Hello Odin, Thank you very much for your interest and your advice! Yes I know Monty and Jean-Marc great demo pages. So a technology demo seems definitely interesting. As you say, a good explanation of how the codec works one exciting thing at a time seems to be a good formula.I will try to take inspiration from Monty and Jean-Marc pages. What I will certainly lack is a good graphical design for

AD4Unix & Samba-3.0.20b+winbind (UPDATE)
The nss_ldap has some performance problems and doesn't have any caching features that windbind does. What I was aways wondering is does IDMAP write UID/GID derived from SID to the extended schema in AD? Can winbindd use this extended schema, instead of using nss_ldap? -----Original Message----- From: samba-bounces+letz_samba=realmspace.com@lists.samba.org

filter/exclude confusion ???
I am running rsync -avz from [A], to pull a directory from [B]. I want to _exclude_ several directories on [B] from being pulled across. Since these directories have short names, I hope that I can either specify them inline rsyncd.conf on [B]; or, inline to the CLI on [A]. I am confused with man rsyncd.conf, where the manpage states: "it only applies on the daemon" I have tried
