Gidday, I have a winamp 2.95 source that cannot upload the stream to my icecast server. Since icecast is compatible with shoutcast surely a winamp source should be able to connect? any help appreciated, Greg My icecast.xml follows: <icecast> <limits> <clients>100</clients> <sources>2</sources>

Multiple Winamp/Oddcast processes
Hello Oddsock and interested parties. Our first multiple stream test broadcast today on one PC and found one problem with the Oddcast plugin. We have multiple Winamps installed in separate folders and are loading each Winamp with a different Windows class name, so that each one may be controlled with external software via Windows messages. The problem is that all streams are sending the same

OT: compiling oddcast DSP
...to compile it? I'd really like to have a >working version of it. couple things : 1. I completely forgot to implement your fix, and my apologies for that, but I've updated the oddcastv2 code now and updated the wa2 plugin with this new code, so please try http://www.oddsock.org/tools/oddcastv2_wa2/oddcast_dsp_wa2_v2.0.5.exe and see if this fixes your issue... note that this is the wa2 version of oddcastv2 2. what version are you trying to compile ? wa2 ? wa3 ? The wa3 plugin code has not been maintained mainly due to the crappiness of wa3 and their incompatability between SDK releases, an...

OddCastDSPv2 + Winamp 2.91 + SQRSoft crossfader
Hey Oddsock I couldn't find your email address so sorry for posting to the list. I know we've had a similar discussion in the past but I'm hoping something can be arranged to solve this problem. I've just tried your new OddCastv2 (for Winamp2) with the SQRSoft crossfader hoping that the old problem had been overcome, however, it is much worse. Winamp simply exits without any

Can't connect winamp source to icecast server
...f the nullsoft shoutcast implementation. You say above that I'd need to run 3 copies of shoutcast on 6 ports to handle 3 streams, so is it possible to use SHOUTCast send a single stream to an icecast server? > > Try the Oddcast plugin instead - > > http://www.oddsock.org/tools/oddcastv2_wa2/ Thanks, I'll give that a go for my own tinkering. OT: compiling oddcast DSP
Hi, There's a rather serious problem with the Oddcast DSP for Winamp, when you stream in vorbis format over icecast2, it drops ~ 1/2 sec of near the beginning of every song except the first. I tracked this down, it turns out oddcast drops the last vorbis page of every stream. (The DSP doesn't receive the new metadata until after the song has been playing for a second or two, which is

YP submission / cURL issue. (icecast 2.0.1 / gentoo)
Hello All: I'm having troubles getting my YP submissions to go up correctly, unfortunately there's not much I've been able to find. I'm getting NACK back from the yp_add call, I've tried two different versions of cURL/libcURL on my gentoo box to see if it was that, no luck. I've also replicated the problem onto another gentoo box of mine and the exact same NACK/no
