[Asus Eee PC 900] as replacement for legacy BRI phone
...RI phone has; but this could be managed as
well by the provider services;
Is there any USB based BRI card which works with Asterisk in FreeBSD (or
if not at least in Linux)?
Any other hints or comments about my approach? Thanks in advance

Power calculations for Wilcox.test
...r paired samples. In my current literature search I've found a
few papers on sample size determination for the wilcox test notably:
Sample Size Determination for Some Common Nonparametric Tests
Gottfried E. Noether
Journal of the American Statistical Association
http://www.jstor.org.pitt.idm.oclc.org/stable/2289477
My question is: are there any implementations of power calculations for
the wilcox test in R based either on Noether's methods for sample size or
another method?
Thanks,
Collin.

Prosodic/phonetic analysis with R
Hi Folks,
I'm interested in looking (in a beginner's amateurish way)
at prosodic/phonetic analysis of recorded speech.
In particular I would want to use R to formulate and
evaluate specific models.
So I would like to ask R people for their recommendations
for a program which would
a) Take as input a sound file in one of the common formats
(".wav", ".au")
b)
