I have a dataset with transactions and a timestamp at which they occoured during a day. The time stamp is in the format YYYY/MM/DD hh:mm:ss. I would like to plot a timeseries of the transactions to see if there is a particular time in the day when there is a spike in transactions. Ofcourse the YYYY/MM/DD can be dropped since I am monitoring activity for the day and the actual date is

Plot of a subset of a data.frame()

forcing R CMD COMPILE
Hi, I am developing a package with a lot of C++ code, and I have a question about R CMD COMPILE. As I can see, when the package's Makefile calls R CMD COMPILE foo.cpp R verifies if foo.o exists, and if it is up to date (last modified after foo.cpp's last), trying to avoid recompile foo.cpp. But __all__ my files have other dependencies (at least a .h). The Makefile verifies it, and calls
