Hello I seem to find only two types of rotation for the factanal function in R, the Varimax and Promax, but is it possible to run a orthogonal and oblique rotations in R? Thanks in advance Rosario

Dear R-List, I have carried out a factor analysis using fa (psych) with nfactors=2, rotation="oblimin" and fm="pa". Now I have to report both pattern AND structure matrix. As I have understood R-Documentation, this can be obtained by setting the "oblique.scores" argument TRUE (structure matrix) or FALSE (pattern matrix), respectively. However both produced the same loading matrix even though my factors correlate to .65 (shouldn't this have a different effect on pattern matrix than on structure matrix?). ...as the TeX italic font when I use italic(...) in an R graphic. I found out that the R postscript(..font="ComputerModern") outputs slanted text when the R function italic(..) is used in a graphic. I think the text should use the italic font. Hi, I need to generate some figure using the Arial font as a requirement for PLoS. Following their guidelines, I have converted the windows font files arial.tff files to .afm using tff2afm (exec file from MikTeX), but when I try to generate a postcript file, the postcript device does not recognize the .afm files.
