transfered data size question
...ne is the net-value of the network transferred bytes (I guess total transferred file size, but his is rather high, I'm not sure my line is even capable of that ;-) 2) it seems that unchanged files are transferred too? [LLVMdev] ctpop intrinsic question
Hello, is it correct, that the "llvm.ctpop" Hamming weight intrinsic is currently (LLVM 2.2) implemented in Line 254 in lib/CodeGen/IntrinsicLowering.cpp /// LowerCTPOP - Emit the code to lower ctpop of V before the specified /// instruction IP. static Value *LowerCTPOP(Value *V, Instruction *IP) { assert(V->getType()->isInteger() && "Can't ctpop a

[LLVMdev] Problems building LLVM 2.2 for ARM
Hello, I'd like to do some initial experiments with LLVM on embedded ARM (Nokia N800), but ran into a build issue. Could s.o. give me a tip? Thx alot, Tobias P.S.: just as sidenote, LLVM 2.2 builds cleanly on GCC 4.2.3 / Linux. === I'm building on Ubuntu/Scratchbox/ARMEL using GCC 3.4.4 (CodeSourcery ARM 2005q3-2) using ./configure --prefix=$HOME/local/llvm-2.2 --enable-jit

Samba as a portable userland FS basis?
Recently, I looked at some options implementing unusual file systems in userland. On Linux, there is LUFS and similar stuff which frees one from touching any kernel code. The design is always similar: a generic kernel module forwards calls to a user level daemon and forwards returned results back. The user level daemon implements or serves as a basis for unusual user land filesystem
