Keyboard repeat error - VNC Xen virtual framebuffer
...h this or a similar problem? Google did not
turn up much that was similiar, and certainly no solutions. Any help would
be much appreciated, as this problem is quite aggravating and distracts from
Xen''s other great qualities!

...a newer version of wine. I'm currently
using winex, but since mousegrab doesn't seem to work anyway, that's a

Has anyone else had a problem like this?
thanks

feedback/question on function update()
Hi,
First let me say I am a big fan of R and appreciate all your time and
effort.
The update() function does not seem to work in a for loop. Consider the
following:
mdat <- matrix(c(1,2,3, 11,23,13, 12,4,8), nrow = 3, ncol=3, byrow=TRUE)
reg <- lm(mdat[7:9]~1)
for(i in 1:2) {
reg <- update(reg,.~.+mdat[((i-1)*3 + 1):(i*3)]) #update reg twice
}
reg # reg should have two independent

So, obviously I'm doing something wrong. My system is pure vanilla

Thanks a lot

Has anyone tried this? Does it work? I'll probably try it next weekend
unless someone tells me it's doomed.

...ow why it wouldn't be able to find the file?
I've tried it as root, so it isn't a permissions issue, and I've tried
it with various capitalizations.
Has anyone tried this?

ices reencoding problem
Hi,
I'm having trouble getting ices 0.2.3 to reencode MPEG-2 LSF mp3s, the
files are playing back around twice as fast as they are supposed to, ie
the "chipmunk effect". I'm not encoding the originals but I've tried
encoding them with lame to the same effect which causes me to believe
the problem is with ices' decoding. The source files are of varying
bitrates and
