Will/Can Exchange Server run with a samba pdc?
Its not for us.
We migrated from our nt4 pdc to samba pdc last night with good outcomes
as far as our clients but our exchange server no longer works.
It failed initially as we did not have the" log on as a service user"
(not strictly true, we had administrator but it didn't work for some reason)
After we got a working service user then got "service specific error

acces-problems for team-shares
Dear,
i'm a newbie to this mailinglist, so please excuse if i donany mistakes.
my question is the following:
emvironment:
Kernel 2.2.16-22enterprise
on RedHat Linux 7.0
SambaVersion: samba-2.0.7-21ssl
i installed the software and configured differnet shares. All works very well
with the users home-shares and the 2 public-shares i created.
also i created different shares depending on

MS Office cannot access a mapped networkdrive

i run a samba 2.2.1a on RedHAt 7.2 Kernel 2.4.18
All works fine but if a user tries to open/save a file from MS-Office
application he receives a error when accessing a mapped network-drive:
"You do not have the permission, please contact your Administrator"
Accessing this share via WindowsExplorer works fine., also all other
applications can access this share via file open/save
