Where to learn how to deal with time class variable?
Dear R-helpers, In my data set, I have a time variable 'RecordTime' whose class property is 'times'. When I list my data set, I see the values of RecordTime is like 10:20:30 in a 'h:m:s' format. Suppose I want to choose all the data after 10 o'clock, then use subset(data,RecordTime>10:20:30) just doesn't work. I noticed that...

Questions about doing analysis based on time
Man, R has a steep learning curve (but I suppose you all know this). I have very little programming knowledge, so when I search for answers to my questions, I struggle with making sense of a lot of the pages. I have a spreadsheet that I've read into R using read.csv. I've also attached it. It looks like this (except there are 1600+...

LLVM social in Sweden?
Hi all, Thanks for the answers! I've also received a couple of answers off-list, so there should be enough of us to get something rolling. I think we should start with something informal to get to know each other and see what our interests are etc. So, I've created a poll with a random slice of March here [...
