I was having trouble connecting to the server that I am using for remote development so I updated things and rebooted. Connected into FreeNX nicely after that...wonder if there is issues with memory leaks or something... Anyway, it appears that the nxagent grabbed port 3000 which is what I was using for rubyonrails/webrick (I probably can change that) which sort of tells me that when I first loaded freenx/nxagent, port 3000 was already in use so it probably adjusted itself but upon reboot, nxagent got all comfortable in port 3000 before I logged in a...

I have been using webrick via FreeNX connection and had to reboot server. Apparently the FreeNX ''nxagent'' claimed port 3000 at startup - before I could log in and try running webrick - which of course won''t start because port 3000 is already in use. How can I change the webrick port (Linux)? Craig

This is called the rootless mode I think and cannot make it work, it simply hangs. Finally I succeded in running the nxagent and nxproxy manually in rootless mode, but the problem is that I have to do this on my linux router (I use x.org from cygwin). but there is no nxproxy on windows or cygwin I think. Is there a way to run single windows with the freenx client and resume sessions? Thanks.
