Rise of Nations, not working under Debian.
This may be a dumb one. For some reason I switched from Fedora 8 to Debian 4. In each case I was running Wine 0.9.58. Same machine with same geForce NV18 video chip. The Rise of Nations: Thrones & etc. demo worked (as I recall) under Fedora but does not run under Debian. The game tells me that the video card is not supported. I checked the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file and it seems to have IDed the

Direct rendering disabled - apparently common on 64bit
...ueeze on an ASUS UL30VT with a GeForce G210M, using the 2.6.32-5-amd64 kernel. Obviously I'm on a 64bit system.
I've been trying to get World of Warcraft to run, but I just can't get it to start. I'm using the non-free nvidia driver and I followed the howto at http://wiki.debian.org/NvidiaGraphicsDrivers while installing it. According to glxinfo I do in fact have direct rendering.

GTX 670 Tips?
Gordan & David,
Read about your latest work, and was thrilled to learn that both soft and
hard mods are working.
I bought the GTX 670 model in David''s article, I will be giving this a shot
in a week.
I was hoping to ask a few questions.
1. Is there a specific qemu version required (traditional or the new
default)?
2. What (if anything) should be done after removing the resistors
