How to dump vbioses of Pascal cards?
Is there any method to dump vbioses of NVIDIA Pascal cards(not use nvflash), such as P100/P4? I used nvagetbios, but it just report a error "Card has second bios", what does this mean? Questions about envytools: reading card VBIOS
...armed in any way by reading the BIOS (I guess not, as we simply read**); * the utility also suggests that the cards have a second VBIOS. Is this second VBIOS also read at the same time? If not, how to read it? * the VBIOS file read is larger than the one that could be read using the NVFlash utility (1 Mo for envytools, against 230 ko for NVFlash). I guess it is not an issue, but could you explain why this difference occurs? Thanks for your help. GFX Passthrough
...hich is a NVIDIA GT200; Key thing seems to be the Patches 1 to 4 (Patch #5 is only so that i have alsa-backed sound emulation , for some reason i have only oss-backed if not applied ?!) Before all that, you need to read out the VGA Bios of the to-be-passthroughed- Graphiccard with a tool; i used nvflash.exe under DOS for this task. The patches assume you saved this file as "vgabios-pt.bin" 1. check out xen unstable: hg clone http://xenbits.xensource.com/xen-unstable.hg 2. go into there and do an "initial build" so that qemu-dm gets checked-out: cd xen-unstable.hg; cd...

Xen VGA Passthrough - GTX 480 successfully quadrified to quadro 6000 (softmod) - more than 4GB of RAM for Win XP 64 Bits
Hi Gordan, I received my Asus GTX 480 today (bought on ebay). Finally I succeeded in - quadrifying my GTX 480  into a Quadro 6000 ( softmod). - overpassing the 3-4GB of RAM on Windows XP 64 bits (domU) by applying a well known patch for Xen. - playing Crysis 2 and Darksiders II for a few minutes. http://img11.hostingpics.net/pics/953254ScreenshotXenSoftModedQuadro6000.png Using nvlfash I

GTX 670 Tips?
...mods are working. I bought the GTX 670 model in David''s article, I will be giving this a shot in a week. I was hoping to ask a few questions. 1. Is there a specific qemu version required (traditional or the new default)? 2. What (if anything) should be done after removing the resistors (NVFlash to 1/2 GRID K2)? If you have any other tips or advice you can send my way that would be great. Thank you both for all your work, experimentation, learning and passing along new passthrough options. Cheers, Casey _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@...
