[Bug 14856] New: Black screen w/ RandR12 enabled
...attach a crt monitor, both displays don't work. The analog monitor
complaints about out of range frequency, while the lvds is white (instead of
black).
Again, I have no problem in switching to VT.
My laptop has an nForce chipset.

[Bug 28152] New: corruption in FVWM window decorations

AssignedTo: nouveau at lists.freedesktop.org

Screenshot (incorrectly rendered)
On an AGP fx5700 (NV36) card, I'm experiencing rendering glitches in FVWM's
window decorations on nouveau. The artifacts are completely consistent:
exactly the same glitches occur on every single window.
These glitches do not occur with other drivers, and I'm certain they didn't
occur in nouveau last ti...

[Bug 75761] weston-launch no output - black screen
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75761
--- Comment #27 from nerdopolis1 at verizon.net ---
I pulled out my old Dell desktop with a Pentium 4 processor, and AGB Nvidia
card (NV36), and it does the same thing. Mark45 on Phoronix said this issue
affected all 3 of his Nvidia cards when he tried to use my Wayland Live CD.
I added the "got pageflip event" lines as suggested, and it seems that they
appear multiple times in the log, and seem to keep going until I tty sw...

[Bug 75761] weston-launch no output - black screen
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75761
--- Comment #41 from nerdopolis1 at verizon.net ---
I found the second patch too, and I applied that as well. It works now, even
after I applied them to 3.13, and built just the Nouveau module.
I have an older Nvidia card, I think it's NV36.

[Bug 47790] New: sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-3.3.0 - black screen on second nouveau display
...bc4069/8cbfe199bbbdcdda?show_docid=8cbfe199bbbdcdda&pli=1
Possibly identical... I just noticed he appears to have exactly the same card.
Following an upgrade to Linux 3.3.0 (from 3.2.11) all output on second monitor
connected a single card( 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation
NV36.2 [GeForce FX 5700] (rev a1)) is black/blank.
The system appears to believe a monitor is connected, it gets EDID, it shows up
in configuration utils, you can drag windows onto it (but not see them) etc.
I have since downgraded again (to 3.2.12) and all is well again.
All this was with the built...
