OT: SIPSAK usage
...machine yields something like "Reply from 192.168.171.8 > 192.168.171.10 UDP port 5060 unreachable" Same phones, same firmware rev, same version of sipsak, no IPTABLES on the originating machine, DNS lookups work, call behavior is normal, other SIP behavior like MWI works fine. I got nuthin here, anyone got a tip?

End of migration: adding support for some an alog phones
Nuthin beats an Atlas: http://www.adtran.com/adtranpx/Doc/0/TUA2HMOPDK3KN6S9LM1FH91169/61200305L2-8 A.pdf Telephony Swiss army knife. You can make it do anything. dhcpd options
...iled, we *think*: apparently the M$-based DNS resolver's sending back extended DNS packets, and we gag. tcpdump saw us asking for an A record, then an AAAA record, then using search.... But putting the *very* counterintuitive option edns0 in /etc/resolv.conf, it works instantly, no caching, no nuthin'. Taking that out breaks it again. My question: it *appears* that we could add option edns0 to dhcpd.conf on the server, and it would fix it for everyone on our subnet. Have I misunderstood what I'm reading in the manpages? mark

Iomega Zip 100 Problems with "New" ATA
...eeBSD (the only OS on the system), I get to the ATA probes and things lockup (these are from notes, not exact), ad2: READ command timeout tag=0 serv=0 - resetting ata1: reseting devices... done ad2: <IOMEGA ZIP100> (blah, blah) PIO0 And it just hangs there forever, no Ctl-Alt-Del, no nuthin', hit the reset button on the case. The Zip is the slave on the secondary controller. I've had the problem with 4.8-RELEASE and a very recent 4.8-STABLE. I've tested with GENERIC just to make sure it wasn't my kernel config. I believe this is a problem with the ATA driver and the...

Also> I can't access the public folder on the Linux box from windows machines, but I suspect that has to do with the way that the public share in smb.conf is setup... Can this config sustain 30 users?
I have this server I need to put to work. The option I have is to make it work as a small office PBX with SIP users and a Digium E1 Card for PSTN service. 24 SIP users and one E1 card in an Intel 945board (533 Front side bus) with 1GB DDR 533mhz of ram, one Pentium Dual Core 2.66 ghz (FSB 533MHZ) and two 80GB SATA disks. Can the box sustain the load? I can add another 1gb of ram if necessary.

Announcement: 32 bit Wine repo for RHEL and CentOS 7
Hi all I've created a yum repo for 32 bit wine packages on RHEL and CentOS 7: https://harbottle.gitlab.io/wine32/7/i386/ The Wine packages work on both 32 bit and 64 bit RHEL/CentOS 7. There is no 32 bit version of the EPEL repo, where the standard RHEL/CentOS Wine packages can be found, so you may find this new repo useful if you need to run Windows software that requires the 32 bit
