Dry-joint to serial converter for use with NUT
...rallel configuration. The NUT compatibility doco seems to suggest that the NUT SNMP drivers for the Galaxy 3000 are still being trailed but that the serial drives for the Galaxy series are supported. That's fine because we're quite content to use a serial link between the UPS's and the nutd server. The install of the UPS's has been accompanied by a complete refurbishment of our power distribution systems and we are presently considering better ways of achieving user-initiated emergency shutdown of the whole computer room. It occurred to us that a neat way to achieve a smart eme...

[nut] High level C and C++ libnutclient (#2)
...epts.
Is the Doxygen support complete? I didn't see a Doxyfile in the patch. It might also be good to have some high-level documentation, and possibly some example code (even if it is just embedded in the comments - but unit tests would be even better).

By default IPv6 is turned on in openSUSE 11.3. I visited YaST ->
Network Settings -> Global options and deselected "Enable IPv6". I
then restarted the box. When I entered the command

Common Linux Power Management (HAL and NUT) (was: Re: ideas for a new UPS infrastructure)
Hi David and fellows,
I'm reviving this important thread about a common power management.
To sum up, the first aim is to allow a better user experience on Linux
by bridging NUT with Linux HAL, and Gnome Power Management / any PM
GUI.
But it also initiate a bigger investigation about how to integrate NUT
support for UPSs into the native OS Power Management infrastructure
for all supported
