[LLVMdev] problem trying to write an LLVM register-allocation pass
I have a new problem: Register RBP is used in a function foo. (I am not allocating RBP to any virtual register, the instances of RBP in function foo are in the machine code when my register allocator starts.) Function foo calls function bar. Register RBP is not saved across the call, though it is live after the call. Function bar includes a virtual register. The code that I'm using to

HugePages - can't start guest that requires them
Hello All, I'm trying to enable hugepages, I've turned off THP (Transparent Huge Pages), and enabled hugepages in memoryBacking, and set my 2MB hugepages count via sysctl. I'm getting "libvirtd[5788]: Failed to autostart VM 'atlas': internal error: Unable to find any usable hugetlbfs mount for 16777216 KiB" where atlas is one of my guests and 16777216 KiB is the

[RFC PATCH 0/5] fstests specific MAINTAINERS file
I think I might be mad to include that many mailing lists in this patchset... As I explained in [PATCH 1/5], fstests covers more and more fs testing thing, so we always get help from fs specific mailing list, due to they learn about their features and bugs more. Besides that, some folks help to review patches (relevant with them) more often. So I'd like to bring in the similar way of

[PATCH net-next] net: make ndo_get_stats64 a void function
The network device operation for reading statistics is only called in one place, and it ignores the return value. Having a structure return value is potentially confusing because some future driver could incorrectly assume that the return value was used. Fix all drivers with ndo_get_stats64 to have a void function. Signed-off-by: Stephen Hemminger <sthemmin at microsoft.com> ---
