ext3fs crash with lots of mmap/munmap/unlink activity
...ut the hardware: this is a dual P-II, with 256 MB RAM, and ide disks, of which some are configured as raid devices. I'm having some troubles catching the oops, either the serial port of my laptop isn't working correctly anymore, or one of my cats has been playing to enthousiasticly with my nullmodem cable. Will try to fix that later, or, if that doesn't even work, write down the oops manually etc. Regards, -- Q_. How to RSYNC from eth1 on PDC-SRV to eth1 on BDC-SRV?
I currently have my /home directory kept in sync between my primary and backup domain controllers by using rsync --archive --checksum --update --delete pdc-srv:/home/ bdc-srv:/home/. I noticed that when this command is invoked, it tends to suck up the available bandwith to eth0 during the duration that the pdc is sending a large amount of data packets to the bdc. Specifying an IPv6 wildcard in the interfaces directive?
My network uses reserved IPv4 addresses (192.168.2.0/24) behind a NAT firewall, but public IPv6 addresses behind a filtering firewall. My ISP (Comcast) assigns both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses dynamically. As a result, the IPv4 address of my internal Samba server is statically assigned, but its IPv6 address is dynamically assigned.
