Leaflet maps. Nudging co-incident markers
I have a dataset showing points, with a category for each point and its location.
I simply want to display my points, in a way that users can toggle the points on and off by category.
Where I have two objects in the same category I'd like to display them nudged to appear as two distinct, but very close points.
I have made reproduceable example (the places are not real), which is loosely based on a tutorial I found recently (https://allthisblog.wordpress.com/2016/10/12/r-311-with-leaflet-tutorial/)
I have three categories of things (cafes, libraries and...

So will ices0 - that's what I use, and I nudge it along all the time.
There is one significant problem with ices0 which is that if you nudge
it while it's playing *the very last* entry in a playlist, it seems to
fail - i.e. it stops pumping and needs to be restarted.
Mohammed, does this match your situation?
If so then you're out of...

dnscap + script of your choice

dsc (http://dns.measurement-factory.com/), which seems to be a
(public) favorite of root operators using NSD.

Creating new columns inside a loop
...hese new columns need to have names that I can
later access... Like NewVar1, NewVar2, etc....
In php I'd call this "indirection" but I'm not sure what to call it in R so
that I can find instructions on how to create, name, and address the values
stored this way...
any gentle nudges in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

2.6.20 fixes a number of ip6tables issues; CentOS 5 is based on 2.6.18.
Maybe CentOS 6 (*nudge nudge*) will work :-)
I'm not sure I want to leave my home network on IPv6 without a firewall;
not sure I trust all the machines I have on local network to be safe
from remote probes!
I wonder if anyone has any suggestions...
Thanks!

The true merit of non-memory based session stores
All,
There is an assertion in AWDWR that the in-memory session store is "too
simplistic."
However, I find myself nudged in this direction by the need to keep a
non-serializable model attribute available in my session and the
relative pain of implementing either a custom serialization scheme for
the model in question (or a custom caching mechanism so that I can store
my attribute in memory).

Efficient way to substract all entries in two vectors from each other
Hi all,
I'm to inexperienced to come up with the matrix solution elusively appearing
on the horizon for the following problem and would appreciate if you could
give me a nudge ...
I have two vectors a, and b and need to find the closest match for each
value of a in b.
How to do that efficiently?
Thanks, Joh

A plot similar to violin plot
Dear R Users,
I would like to know is there any package to create a plot like this?
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5409929/cs1160521f01.gif
X axis is categorical. And the positions of the points are
corresponding to the frequency. (similar to violinplot)
Thank you.

Haven't yet found some howto or other guide on this part of the config so
would appreciate a nudge in the right direction.

ogg player for mac
Hi
Does anyone know of an ogg player for the mac (os 9) that actually works with
icecast. I've tried audion, macamp, unsanity echo, and mint with no results
whatsoever. They all play ogg files from disk, and all grab an mp3 stream from
icecast, but as soon as I try streaming ogg they all fail to regonise it.
(except for audion, which for some reason plays the stream as twice the speed?)

[WARNING] don''t use ruby-sendfile
Hi Folks,
I''ve been getting reports of people with serious stability problems in
Mongrel. These problems go away instantly when they remove
ruby-sendfile.
If your mongrel starts up saying that you have "sendfile installed" and
that it is using it then **you are wrong**. Remove the gem and don''t
use it.
I''ll be investigating why it doesn''t really

Anyways, sharing appears to be working, because if I log into a local machine account, I cat 'NET USE' a share fine.
Anyways, any help or gentle 'nudges' in the correct direction would be appreciated. I can provide smb.conf and log files to whomever wishes them.

Unfortunately, ?predict.lm does not seem to be helpful, and neither RSiteSearch nor rseek.org have been useful. I'm sure that I am making an elementary error somewhere (am I misunderstanding the lm(yy~XX) part?) and would appreciate a gentle nudge in the right direction.

I am trying to rework the example from "An Introduction to R" (p. 72)

Since I'm repeating something I have done with gnuplot I know that 3 and
