Time Synchronisation - SELinux Labeling and Policy
hi, i want set selinux to usw with ntpd
but when i run (as described in wiki)
semanage -a -t ntpd_t "/usr/local/samba/var/lib/ntp_signd"
i have that error
"

selinux ntp samba error message
...o the time change, I made sure that ntpd and my timezone
files were properly setup. Since this time, I've noticed the
following errors:
audit(1173310084.404:5): avc: denied { read } for pid=8634
comm="ntpd" name="unexpected.tdb" dev=md1 ino=147662
scontext=root:system_r:ntpd_t tcontext=root:object_r:samba_var_t
tclass=file
I've not successfully (so far) been able to find the selinux setting
that is denying this access. I am running a reasonably standard (i.e.
minimally customized) CentOS V4.4 system and have to believe there is
a general change that should be made....

Fedora packages or Enterprise packages of Samba on RHEL4?
Hello,
Can somebody of the Samba team explain me the difference of Fedora packages
or Enterprise packages ( <http://enterprisesamba.com/>
http://enterprisesamba.com/) of Samba on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4?
I tried to find any information about this subject, but googleing doesn't
help me.
The standard Samba package (3.0.10EL) of RHEL4 doesn't communicate with a
W2k3 server
