Else i'll patch it into my builds. Rowland, tell me, how did you find the change through git, thats still a part i need to improve. :-/ I looked in bugzilla, but was not able to find it. 'winbind use default domain' doesn't appear to work with ntlm_auth
Hi everyone, We just upgraded Samba from 4.4.5 to 4.6.5 and appear to be experiencing a problem with authentication, when the RPC domain is not supplied as part of the username. I have two scenarios where this has cropped up: RADIUS authentication using ntlm_auth Apache HTTP using mod_auth_ntlm_winbind RADIUS authentication: We use the freeRADIUS 'mschap' module to provide

Upgraded to Samba 4.11.2 and I?ve now too started seeing the message: get_share_mode_lock: get_static_share_mode_data failed: NT_STATUS_NO_MEMORY A lot. I modified the source in source3/locking/share_mode_lock.c a bit in order to print out the values of the service path, smb_fname & old_write_time when it fails and it seems they are all NULL? NT_STATUS_NO_MEMORY when browsing file server on Belkin modem
Hello, Can someone help me to track down the source of this problem? I'm trying to access a file server running on a Belkin modem with an attached USB drive. Judging my the quality of the firmware on the device, I'd say there's a good chance of it being buggy. But it works well enough on a Windows machine, even one running inside Virtualbox under Linux. I therefore see no reason

NT_STATUS_NO_MEMORY accessing a DC shared resource
I have a working Samba 4.7.6 DC with the default /sysvol and /netlogon shares. These shares work perfectly and domain users can access them without any issue. Now, to ease experimenting with config files and stuff (it's not a production server), I've added a /rootdisk share (path=/) limiting its access ro root and domain admins: --------- # cat /etc/samba/smb.conf [global]
