nss_windbind.so can't see groups that wbinfo -g can (4.0.9 as AD DC)
...This one forward and reverse-resolves, but isn't listed by default:

I can't understand why wbinfo and nss_windbind would give different
results. The cn=fb and cn=robobobo objects, for example, look pretty
much alike -- it's not something as obvious as objectClass: posixGroup
in one and other the other.

Windows doesn't show groups/users of AD in security tab when connected to Samba server

Q: Is idmap_nss is the backend to use with it's range specified to cover
the above one (200-60000)?
We don't allow people to log-into the machine on the UNIX side so PAM

Joining the domain works smoothly.
A WindowsXP client is able to authenticate against AD _WITHOUT_ being a
