Latency and Rsync Transfers
Hello, Working a few servers that are transferring data across country with a 75ms delay on a GIGE connection. We can tune the tcp buffers on linux to improve the connections using iperf. Does rsync use the tcp buffers of the OS or does it override these settings? Thanks, Neal -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Cisco 7936 Conference Phone - SIP or SCCP?
Hi All, Does anyone have any experience getting a 7936 to work with Asterisk? Do you need to use SCCP or is there a SIP image for the phone? I have a few 7960G's and they are working with SIP, just curious if the config of the conference phone is the same and if anybody has any good setup links. Thanks! In bound SIP context issue

Instead of sending the call the specified context, asterisk is using the context default from [general]? Any thoughts? I am sure that it is something simple I am missing. To recap, it is sending calls to the context default, not thecontext... [general] context=default

1 second delay when connecting calls

Anyone have any ideas on where to start to debug or has anyone seen this before. We have played with settings on pri, asterisk, and phones with no change. Thanks for your help and ideas in advance. Can rsync use UDP?
Hello, Does rsync support using udp instead of tcp? /etc/services has both ports. It is possible to configure xinetd to start rsync in udp mode, but a client will not connect.
