3.7.1 Release Update - Stable patches deadeline extended to November 9 - testers needed
Hi,
I know a lot of people were busy with the dev-meeting last week, so I've
decided to continue to accept stable patches until November 9. I
would still like to keep the original schedule of an -rc1 release on
November 10, so if there are any newly submitted patches that take
more than a few days to get approved, they will probably end up
going into llvm 3.7.2.
I am currently working through my list of candidate stable patches...

[LLVMdev] 1 Week before 1.9 Branch Creation
...esults of the full
llvm test suite. If a test failure is determined to be something that
needs to be fixed before the release, please fix it or file a bugzilla
bug, and set the target to 1.9.
Any enhancements scheduled for the 1.9 release should go in ASAP. This
work should be completed before November 6th. Please try to avoid checking
in large changes right before the deadline.
I will be creating the 1.9 release branch on November 6th at 9:00PM PST.
Reminder of Release Schedule:

arrange data
Dear r-users,
I have daily rainfall data from 1971 to 2000. I would like to extract november and december data only. I would also like to do column bind for november and december, therefore I would like to delete 31 December from december data so that the length of november and december are the same. Hope somebody can help me. I tried this below:

[LLVMdev] Announcing 3.2 Release Schedule
...xtra! Extra! Read all about the LLVM/Clang 3.2 release.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances we would like to materialize
this 3.2 Dragon by December the 16th, so here are couple of dates
to remember.
Developers
All major features for the 3.2 release should be finished
(feature complete) by the November 29th.
After November 29, we will accept only bug fixes and patches
for *release blocking* issues which do not change the functionality
of LLVM and Clang. i.e., if your feature isn't finished, then
it may have to be turned off by default.
After the branching date on November 11th it will be...

About the google-invisibility of this list
...a search for
recent mentionings of xorriso.
Wasn't there a thread about google-invisibility a few months
ago ?
So i began to watch and made an experiment.
Can it be that this HTML tag

and
http://www.syslinux.org/archives/
is to blame ?

When i tried with the quite unique search text
"Sysinux 6 will not boot", i only got to a search engine

test "should get new" do
get :new, :room_id => @room.name
assert_template(:ne)
end
the template new does not exists but the test does not get failure.
Why?

R-1.8.1 scheduled for November 21
The release of R-1.8.1 is scheduled for Friday, November 21.
Automatic generation of daily alpha releases should start tomorrow
(I'll do the first by hand later today) and switch to beta status on
Friday, November 14.
It would be good if package maintainers could get any planned changes
done as soon as possible, and test their packages carefully...

I have a client who uses Samba 3.0.28 on AIX 5.3 and he is running into
problems with the cpu utilization which is 100% caused by one or more
smbd processes.
I found out that this problem should be solved in version 3.0.37 and
want to know if there is a way to get the bff-file of this version.
I am not able to compile samba myself on the machine which has the
problem and I am
