turn hmm migrate_vma upside down v2
Hi Jérôme, Ben and Jason, below is a series against the hmm tree which starts revamping the migrate_vma functionality. The prime idea is to export three slightly lower level functions and thus avoid the need for migrate_vma_ops callbacks. [PATCH 6/9] nouveau: simplify nouveau_dmem_migrate_to_ram
Factor the main copy page to ram routine out into a helper that acts on a single page and which doesn't require the nouveau_dmem_fault structure for argument passing. Also remove the loop over multiple pages as we only handle one at the moment, although the structure of the main worker function makes it relatively easy to add multi page support back if needed in the future. But at least for

[PATCH 1/9] mm: turn migrate_vma upside down
There isn't any good reason to pass callbacks to migrate_vma. Instead we can just export the three steps done by this function to drivers and let them sequence the operation without callbacks. This removes a lot of boilerplate code as-is, and will allow the drivers to drastically improve code flow and error handling further on. Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch at lst.de> ---

[PATCH] nouveau: remove bogus uses of DMA_ATTR_SKIP_CPU_SYNC
DMA_ATTR_SKIP_CPU_SYNC should only be used when the driver manually performs dma cache maintainance operations using the dma_sync_* calls. Nouveau doesn't do that, and generally just assumes DMA is coherent. Use plain dma_map_page which doesn't make this code correct but at least a little less wrong and simpler. dev_pagemap related cleanups v2
Hi Dan, Jérôme and Jason, below is a series that cleans up the dev_pagemap interface so that it is more easily usable, which removes the need to wrap it in hmm and thus allowing to kill a lot of code Note: this series is on top of the rdma/hmm branch + the dev_pagemap releas fix series from Dan that went into 5.2-rc5.
