switch a source, idea?
hi there,
let's say I have a mountpoint /important with a source a, and a mountpoint /notimportant with source b
now I have to switch source a and b so that the content of source b plays on mountpoint /important
mountpoint /notimportant is, well, not so important
of course I can do it manually, but I wonder if there is a trick to accomplish that
programmatically or within icecast. ideas wel...

...ary thing afaik. Not sure if the
API exposes any of that functionality, though this is veering off of
your original goal I think.

Having trouble converting a dataframe of character vectors to factors
R Experts,
I have a dataframe made up of character vectors--these are results from survey questions. I need to convert them to factors.
I tried the following which did not work:
scs2<-sapply(scs2,as.factor)
also this didn't work:
scs2<-sapply(scs2,function(x) as.factor(x))
After doing either of above I end up with
>str(scs2)
chr [1:10, 1:10] "very important" "very
