Grub, pata, and sata
I've just filed bug 0004634. Grub won't install onto my pata drive now
that I have a sata drive installed. This is grub 0.97 on CentOS5.5.
Has anyone else encountered this? I'm guessing that I can always
install Fedora on hda, which should give me a working grub, but I was
hoping for something a little less involved.
Thanks,
Dave Mackay

inserting the bonding module always creates the first bond interface,

BUG relating to fstrim on btrfs partitions
I think I found a bug affecting btrfs filesystems and users invoking fstrim to discard unused blocks: if I execute a `fstrim -v /` twice, the amount trimmed does not change on the 2nd invocation AND it takes just as long as the first. Why do I think this is a bug? When I do the same on an ext4 partition I get different behavior: the output shows 0 B trimmed and it does is instantaneously when I

It looks like that bug was assigned to the selinux-policy component,
where it was CLOSED NOTABUG, and then mistakenly marked CLOSED ERRATA.
The solution is probably to specify the allowed ports. However, I must
be reading something wrong, because on my system, it looks like named_t
is allowed to use those ports.
# sesearch -A -s named_t | grep port | grep bind

Firefox print to file fail silent & side notes of cms4all.
Hello everyone,
in time when i start to rebuilt my csm4all-media, I tryed to print into
file from firefox. The print box close but no pdf is created. With
cups-pdf works, but:
- You can not name the printout
- can not change the directory from userland, only with cups
configuration.
Where is the hunt? I only wanne tell, that is not my domain.

[Bug 405] getaddrinfo delays
http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405
------- Additional Comments From dgp at nist.gov 2002-09-28 03:39 -------
BTW, it seems strange to me that when
HAVE_GETADDRINFO is undefined or false,
the code still makes calls to getaddrinfo().
Is this configuration support just incomplete?
