pulling out 1 country and 1 wave
Hello.
I am trying to pull out one country from a time series of 5 waves. For example I need Norway from the 5th wave. This is new to me. Typically, I work with country specific surveys.
data = norway
I have attached a .tiff of the codebook showing the variable names for Norway and the wave. They appear to be Norway = v218 and wave = v15. But perhaps I am wrong and this is part of the prob...

I18n.t('countries.NO') broken?
Hi
I''ve tried this on a virgin Rails 3.2.2 app. If you put the translations
for country names in the locale file using the 2 letter ISO code, it
looks something like this:
en:
countries:
DE: "Germany"
NO: "Norway"
US: "USA"
This works fine - but for Norway :-)
I18n.t :''countries.DE'' # => "Germany"
I18n.t :''countries.NO'' # => "translation missing: en.countries.NO"
Case doesn''t matter, the same happens with :...

Finding the neighbors of the point
Dear all,
I got point data of trees. I was wondering if anybody has experience in searching the neighbors within a specified distance efficiently.
X Y Z

98 35 29
98 34 28
99 33 33
98 32 23
99 33 21
99 33 22
99 32 24
99 30 23
...
What I want to do is : searching for the neighbors with a distance R for each tree & the neighbor must have a bigger Z.
